This year in addition to making all of my SWAPS, the camp director asked me to make some for her. I agreed to make them, as long as they were easy SWAPS. I knew I would not have time to crochet 200 Texas stars, sew tacos, or paint light sabers.
Just for her, I re-designed my Sock Monkey SWAP from a few years back. I began with plastic teddy bear cupcake picks I found at the local dollar store. Using a pair of scissors I was able to remove the pick and save the adorable teddy bear. The bears fit nicely into the 1.5×3 inch bags that she provided me.
If you would like to make some of these for your own use, here is the downloadable pdf SWAP tag…

Happy SWAPPING

This year for our AHG troop ornament exchange I created paint brush snowmen. These charming snowmen were a huge hit. And no one knew how easy and affordable they were to make.
The wonderful thing about SWAPS is they can match any mood, personality, or theme. Today’s SWAP is dedicated to the 1001 silly jokes that the girls have shared driving to and from camp.
This summer our camp theme centered around creations. We explored God’s creation in a beautiful mountain setting. But we also studied modern inventions. Since our Pioneer and Patriots attend a longer camp than our Tenderhearts and Explorers, I wanted to develop a SWAP just for the older girls.
