Here it is 2019, and I still have not shared all of my SWAPS from summer camp. My Camp SWAP was a huge hit. The extra effort required was worth it when I saw the joy on both the adults’ and girls’ faces. Continue reading “Camp SWAP”

Get ready, cause here I come!

Well, January is more than half way through and the crazy holiday season is long over, yet my projects and commitments continue to grow.

Teddy Bear SWAPS
This year in addition to making all of my SWAPS, the camp director asked me to make some for her. I agreed to make them, as long as they were easy SWAPS. I knew I would not have time to crochet 200 Texas stars, sew tacos, or paint light sabers.
Just for her, I re-designed my Sock Monkey SWAP from a few years back. I began with plastic teddy bear cupcake picks I found at the local dollar store. Using a pair of scissors I was able to remove the pick and save the adorable teddy bear. The bears fit nicely into the 1.5×3 inch bags that she provided me.
If you would like to make some of these for your own use, here is the downloadable pdf SWAP tag…
