Native American SWAP

native-american-swap

This summer at camp I thought the Native American Merit Badge.  I made these SWAPS for the girls in my class.

I began with a piece of tan felt that was cut into triangles.  Using Elmer’s white school glue, I glued 2 toothpicks to the back.  After the glue dried, I added the little “door” with white puff paint.  When the paint dried I was able to add a safety pin and a tag with my name and the troop information.

These SWAPS did not take a large amount of hands on time, but they did need time to dry. So don’t try these the night before a campout (We have all been there.)

If you are looking for Native American Badge Helps, here are a few I have posted (more to come).
