One stitch at a time

Did anyone see the For Better or For Worse comic strip in the Sunday paper at the end of April?

This comic strip is posted on the side of my refrigerator.  I seem to have a basket full of projects that are mostly finished.  But yet, none are ready to be shared.  They are all missing just a little bit whether it is weaving in the ends or adding the arms to a creature that I knitted up.

Well, I just wanted you to know, that I have not given up on knitting.  Time to go and work on my PhD (Projects half Done).

AHG Badge Help – Textile Arts #17

I do not know many girls who do not enjoy tie-dying. No matter what you do, or what colors you use, a masterpiece is just around the corner.

While the craft part of the Textile Arts badge is easy to accomplish.  I find that many PiPa’s struggle with completing the text-book part of the badge.

Flag day

For those of us who have worn the uniform especially on foreign fields the flag of the United States is more than a symbol of our great country. It is the embodiment of very real sacrifices. It is representative of missed birthdays and holidays for something greater than ourselves. It is the embodiment of lost friends and lost innocence.
