I do not know many girls who do not enjoy tie-dying. No matter what you do, or what colors you use, a masterpiece is just around the corner.
While the craft part of the Textile Arts badge is easy to accomplish. I find that many PiPa’s struggle with completing the text-book part of the badge.
Requirement #17 of the badge requires the girls to research 3 different textile artists. A great resource to use to complete this requirement is www.TextileArtist.org This website has biographies, interviews and galleries of many of today’s artist.
