Reversible Skirt for a Doll
This month, I am trying to clean out all of my old files. I often have projects that I have completed, and photographed, but failed to share them on my blog.
My daughter made this reversible doll skirt as an Explorer in order to complete her sewing merit badge.

Rag Quilt
My guest room doubles as my craft room. In addition to storing my endless stash of yarn, and a closet full of supplies, it contains a twin size bed. I wanted the bed covers to reflect my crafty side, so I decided to make a rag quilt for it.

AHG Badge Help – Textile Artist #20

This past summer, I taught the Textile Arts Merit Badge at summer camp to an amazing group of Pioneers. In addition to making several textile art projects we learned about the history of quilt making.
Quilt SWAPS

I inherited my love for quilts and quilting from my grandmother. This summer I taught the Textile Arts badge to a group of Pioneers. To go along with the class, I also made quilt block SWAPS. Each SWAP contains a mini quilt block along with a tag. Continue reading “Quilt SWAPS”
