Pinch Proof
Happy St. Patrick’s Day! To help my daughter be pinch proof today, I made her a headband. I began with a free shamrock pattern I found on the To Live A Life blog. It is basically three hearts that were sewn together.
I attached it to a plastic headband with some hot glue. Next week (after St. Patrick’s Day) I will be able to remove it easily. The hot glue will simply peel off. Continue reading “Pinch Proof”
Crocheted Shamrock
Since St. Patrick’s day is Thursday, and I wanted to practice my newly learned crochet skills, I whipped up a tiny shamrock.

Crocheted Scarf
I recently took a crochet class. I have never been able to master crocheting, even though I tried several times.
I finally did it. I was able to complete this scarf after one class. The pattern can be found on Ravelry. This Textured Easy Scarf uses both double and single crochet. I used an entire skein of Red Heart yarn to complete.
While I think I will continue to focus on knitting, it is nice to have another skill in my repertoire for when I find a project I love that uses crocheting.
