Wilson Bentley became famous after he developed a method for photographing snowflakes in the late 1800’s. During his lifetime he photographed over 5000 different snowflakes. Recently I stumbled upon several projects my daughter completed as an Explorer. To complete the Home Decorating Merit Badge, she created a set of interchangeable Seasonal centerpieces. 
American Heritage Girls is proud to support Samaritan’s Purse and Operation Christmas Child in bringing the good news of Christ to children all over the world.
In order to complete the Textile Arts merit badge, my daughter organized a service project, for her unit, to make sewing kits to include in our troop’s OCC boxes.
