Roasted Brussel Sprouts are a family favorite around here. They are a great side dish to add to any meal. If you have never tried them, they remind me of little cabbages. The little balls of veggie, are best when they are small enough to fit into your mouth in one bite.
I begin with fresh brussel sprouts, wash them and remove any discolored outer leaves. Toss them in a tablespoon spoon of olive oil. Spread onto a a large baking dish. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Bake at 400 for 30 minutes.
TIP: When fresh brussel sprouts are not available, substitute frozen and add about 5 minutes to the cook time. They come out nice and brown
