To add a little more nautical touch to the family room, I added a life preserver I picked up at the thrift store. It originally came with faded red ribbon and the wooden circle part was unfinished. Family Room Makeover – part 2, Mantle
The fireplace mantle is a great place to keep all kinds of treasures.
My mantle is a combination of new, old and crafty. The lighthouse and white coral on the left was purchased from At Home. The boat in the middle was found laying around my dad’s house.
