My guest room doubles as my craft room. In addition to storing my endless stash of yarn, and a closet full of supplies, it contains a twin size bed. I wanted the bed covers to reflect my crafty side, so I decided to make a rag quilt for it.

I firmly believe that children of any age can help with chores. Somewhere between the age of 2 and 3 my children began working along side of me helping to take care of our home. Granted the quality of work may not have been great, and it would have been quicker for me to do it myself, it taught them both the importance of work, and that we are each part of the family.
