On a recent trip to the Spice and Tea Exchange, I had my daughter pick a new spice to add to our collection. She picked Lemon Verbena. Lemon Verbena has a smell reminiscent of tea with a lemony note.

I adore Lemon Pound Cake. What’s not to love. A simple cake made using a box mix with the delicate taste of lemon. And it requires no icing. It’s perfect for dessert and for breakfast.

Today is National Fresh Spinach Day. Spinach is my daughter’s favorite vegetable. Around my house we eat it in salads, quiche, twice baked potatoes and in pasta limone.
If you are unfamiliar with this dish, it is a super quick creamy pasta dish with fresh lemon taste. Any meal I can make in less than 30 minutes is a win for me.
