Can you spell “Pfeffernuesse”?
Not only can I not spell pfeffernuese, some days I have a hard time pronouncing it.
I first learned of pferffernuesse when my dad was stationed in Germany with the Air Force. I absolutely love these little spice cookies. Unlike the traditional cookies, I dip mine in a glaze. This adds a little extra sweetness.
White Chocolate Cranberry Cookies
This time of year everyone is busy making cookies. While I like the traditional cookies, I also like to add some not so traditional cookies to my mix. With the help of my hubby, I modified my regular chocolate chip cookie recipe to make White Chocolate Cranberry Cookies. These are a year round hit, but at Christmas time we get to count them as healthy because they have fruit in them.

Christmas Tree Dishcloth
Here it is three and a half weeks till Christmas, and I have completed the December dishcloth in my series.
I was unable to find a pattern that I liked so I designed my own. I hope you find it useful. I used my favorite number 6 needles and half a skein of Peaches and Creme cotton yarn in Forest Green.
