In my recent browse through Pinterest I saw a super cute cactus hat, but it was crocheted. I was determined that I could knit one.

With summer coming to a close, this sea turtle is ready to make a splash in the ocean.
I began with a free pattern written by Rebecca Olsen. The pattern in knitted in pieces and required a bit more seaming than I would have liked. But the end result was an adorable turtle ready to make waves. The pattern can be found on the Knitty website (here).
