Linen Stitch Dishcloth

I have found my new favorite dishcloth!  These dishcloths are amazing. They are super sturdy and have a thicker texture than most knit dishcloths.

I have to give credit to Lisa Gutierrez, and her post on Blueprint for doing an amazing job explaining the linen stitch.  Her “pro-tips” made all the difference.

To create these, I cast on 30 stitches and followed her directions.  The stitches and design show up beautifully in the two-tone dishcloth.  I do admit, it took a little bit to learn the new stitch pattern and would recommend starting with two colors before trying it with a single color.

You can find Lisa’s instructions here.

Happy Knitting!
