We love American Heritage Girls. With our endless moves it has been a great way for us to meet people in a new community. It also has allowed us to try things we never would have done before. My daughter loves anything crafty. The Creative Crafts merit badge is a great way for her to try new types of skills – Bead Making.

At our house we love SWAPS. Recently at a regional AHG campout, Lily received a SWAP that I have never seen before. It was a simple pipecleaner that was shaped into the letters AHG. I thought it was adorable and easy. I only wish the creator of this SWAP had included a tag.
While it is still cold outside, it is never too early to think about spring and work on AHG merit badges. My daughter recently completed her Home Decorating Merit Badge.
I wanted to add a scripture verse canvas for my daughter’s room. I found several on Etsy, but with prices upwards of $50 and my limited budget, I knew there had to be a better way.
