This has been a busy week for my family. Nothing exceptional, just a busy time of year. I was not able to get as much done on my baby blanket that I shared last week. I finished attaching the border strip from last week. I knitted one more and added it to the left side. Slowly but surely I will complete this blanket.

Now On Etsy
Life of Momma B is now on Etsy! That’s right, I have opened my own Etsy shop!
Currently, I have several sets of dishcloths available for sale. I do plan on adding more items in the very near future.
Cooking #14
I love the fact that my daughter and I share a passion for cooking. This summer she is working on her Cooking merit badge. This means lots of yummy food and a few messes.
Cooking requirement #14 has the PiPa plan a healthy menu for the family for three days including snacks. To assist you in this requirement, we have created a simple printout for you.
If you would like to use this file, click on the image above to save a copy of the pdf file or download this Cooking #14 printable pdf.
Happy cooking!
NOTE: The requirements have been simplified here. Please be sure to read the full text in the Girl Handbook to make sure you fully understand the requirements.
Apple Crumble
I love Apple Crumble. For years it was my go to dessert any time we had company. It is easy to make, and the house smells heavenly while it bakes.
Baby Blanket, week 1
I usually do not post my projects until they are complete, but I thought I would change things up for this project.
Back in early 2013, I completed a letter B dishcloth. The pattern came from a dishcloth set of the entire alphabet. At that time, I thought that they could make a delightful baby blanket. However, no one in my family is expecting to have any more children.
Recently, a friend announced that she was expecting. In addition to being delighted for her, I wanted to start on a baby blanket for her.
I began by designing my project in Excel.
