I am a sucker for desserts, especially chocolate. One of my favorite “go-to” desserts is this Triple Chocolate Pound Cake.

Baby Blanket Week 6
As the say “the best laid plans of mice and men often go awry”. I had hoped to finish this blanket in 6 weeks, but that did not happen.
AHG Badge Help – Aviation #15
Have you completed the Aviation merit badge? Do you know the difference between yawl and pitch?
I found a great interactive children’s game to help explain the difference between the two.
Take a few minutes and check out the Flight Adventures Game for students found at the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis. The game allows children to change the elevons and rudder on the FPG-9 to direct it to the target. The elevons and rudder control the pitch, yawl yaw and roll.
This website was recommended in the AHG Handbook for help with the Living and Working in Space Merit Badge.
NOTE: The requirements have been simplified here. Please be sure to read the full text in the Girl Handbook to make sure you fully understand the requirements.
Monkey Bread
Monkey Bread was very popular during the 90’s. While it may have lost some of it’s popularity, my family still gets excited over this sweet breakfast treat.

Baby Blanket Week 5
I am starting to make good progress, if all goes as planned, I will be finished by this time next week. This week I was able to attach two rows and knit an additional white stripe and alphabet row.
After much searching (and a little frogging) I opted to leave the corner squares blank. I knitted each of them in a straight stockinette stitch.
Back to my knitting.
