Recently I stumbled upon several projects my daughter completed as an Explorer. To complete the Home Decorating Merit Badge, she created a set of interchangeable Seasonal centerpieces.

As a knitter, I give away more projects than I keep. Home-made projects make great Christmas gifts. Since most of the projects I am working on will be gifts, I am not ready to reveal them. But have no fear, my needles have been very busy.

Sewing Kits for Operation Christmas Child
American Heritage Girls is proud to support Samaritan’s Purse and Operation Christmas Child in bringing the good news of Christ to children all over the world.
In order to complete the Textile Arts merit badge, my daughter organized a service project, for her unit, to make sewing kits to include in our troop’s OCC boxes.
