As a knitter, I give away more projects than I keep. Home-made projects make great Christmas gifts. Since most of the projects I am working on will be gifts, I am not ready to reveal them. But have no fear, my needles have been very busy.
I had seen this hat floating around Pinterest for a while now, and it has been sitting on my board waiting for the right yarn. When for my birthday, I received a skein of gorgeous Peacock Blue Yarn, I knew exactly what I wanted to make. I finally found the right yarn for the project.
The pattern was designed by Alyssa Heath and can be found on Ravelry for free (here). The major change I made to the hat was I decreased the number of cast-on stitches from 152 to 104.
Happy Knitting
