I am excited to have my sister and her family move to Texas. While we are now about an hour away, it beats living over 1400 miles apart. She arrived in Texas a few days after her birthday, so upon her arrival we celebrated.
For her birthday I made this cake. Ahead of time, I made daisies from fondant and allowed them to dry. Then I simply frosted a two-layer cake with light blue frosting and added the daisies on the top and sides. Then piped on a few leaves and the words. The assembly was really quick which was important since we also were helping them move.
P.S. You can tell I was in a hurry as the wording is in two different scripts (oops).
