Baby fever is taking over my knitting! I have spent more time than I care to mention looking at baby hat patterns for Period of Purple Crying. Since I do not have any newborns in my life to model these, this ball of gray yarn had to do. I’m certain it would look even better on a real baby.
I found a free pattern for a Baby Beret on the Wooly Wormhead webpage (here). The hat features a rolled brim. The increase is a simple Make 1 (M1) increase and picks up the stitch from the round below. The pattern is available in a wide variety of sizes and is super cute.
