As a variation of the basic baby hat, I knitted this hat with diamonds around the bottom of the hat.
This is one of the variations to the Preemie Hats For Charity pattern by Carissa Browning. I did need to increase the cast on edge from 72 to 84. This allowed for a newborn size hat and add one repeat in the pattern.
