I found a free pattern for the most adorable sleep mask, and had to knit it up.
I have had a partial skein of pink, extra soft cotton yarn in my stash for a while now. It was left over from a dishcloth I had knitted three years ago (here). This cotton was way too soft to be used for kitchen dishcloths, but this project was perfect. It will also wash easily, for many years of use.
I used a crochet hock to outline the mask and a little more black yarn to add embroidered eyes.
The free pattern can be found on the Love Knitting blog (here).
