The local craft group that I belong to recently made crosses. I love how they turned out. Everyone of them was different and reflected the individuals taste. Here is mine.
We began with old cabinet fronts, that were picked up at the Habitat for Humanity thrift store for $1. After a little sanding and several coats of paint, we were ready to begin.
The red burlap was stapled to the back of the door with a heavy-duty stapler. With the help of a pipe cleaner the cross was gathered in the center and a flower was hot-glued to the front.
The hardest part of this project was waiting for the paint to dry.
Hope you enjoy this quick project.
