A Baker’s Best Friend

Have you ever considered how bakers get a perfect cake everytime, without it sticking to the pan?

The answer is Cake Release.  Cake release, when used properly, will give you the perfect outside of a cake.  Itt is easy to make and even easier to use.

1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup vegetable oil
1 cup shortening

Combine all three ingredients with a hand mixer.  Store in an air-tight jar at room temperature.  Apply to the inside of a cake pan with a pastry brush before adding cake batter.
