I had the priveledge of teaching the Archery Merit Badge this summer at camp. While I had learned to shoot as a child, my archery skills were a little rusty. But after a little practice, and a few bruises, I was back up to speed.
Included in our unique field target, was a Tic Tac Toe game.
This was very easy and inexpensive to make. I covered a standard square target with wrapping paper (the white back side of the paper showing). Using blue painters tape, I created a grid for the girls to shoot at.
We did find the need to change the traditional rules of Tic Tac Toe just a little. Due to the number of missed shots, both players could claim the same square in their game.
NOTE: The requirements have been simplified here. Please be sure to read the full text in the Girl Handbook to make sure you fully understand the requirements.
