The American Heritage Girls Nature & Wildlife merit badge, is a popular badge for girls. Regardless to their age. there is something about being outside and enjoy the Creator’s work that is calming.
Requirement #4 of the badge has the girls make a pinecone bird feeder and observe it for 30 days.
Making a pinecone feeder is not hard, and is often done as a Tenderheart unit. Having been involved in 5 different troops, I often see leaders skipping the 30 days part which is a crucial part of the badge. To help you fulfill the requirement completely, I have created a free printable.
