Even though Christmas is technically over, I wanted to share with you one of my Christmas knitting projects and did not want to wait until next year. I found this amazing free pattern for an ornament that depicts the nativity on it.
I used #8 crochet thread and size 1 needles to knit this adorable ornament. I did modify the pattern slightly at the end. Instead of binding off I continued to decrease the number of stitches until I had 4 left. At which time, I knitted an I-Cord hanger.

The creator of the pattern, Eva Lyus, also has posted on Ravelry patterns for the Wise Men and Shepherds that would complete the set. I plan to work on them in the coming months to have ready for next Christmas.
