While Nat King Cole was not the inspiration for my most recent canvas painting, after completing it, I was reminded of one of his songs “Let There be Love”. 
Do you remember the line “Let there be birds singing in the tree”?
The canvas now hangs above my bed. It measures 15×30 inches, so it fits nicely above a queen-size bed.
As with all of my canvas painting, I used the same tracing method that I described here.
The image of the four birds was found with the help of a Google search. As a family of four, this silhouette was a perfect fit.
