Crocheted Shamrock

Since St. Patrick’s day is Thursday, and I wanted to practice my newly learned crochet skills, I whipped up a tiny shamrock.

I found this cute little project at Damn it Janet, Let’s Crochet.  It was a free pattern (which is my favorite kind).  I was able to use up a tiny scrap of yarn I had left from a previous project.  After I finished it I realized that instead of using a “half double crochet” I used a “double crochet”. I guess I will have to chalk it up to being a newbie.  I will get the hang of this yet.

My plan is to attach a safety pin to the back of it – I will be pinch proof all day.
