As we grow in our relationship with Christ, we should become more Christ-like. Galations 5:22-23 gives us the fruit of the spirit that should be evident in our lives – love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfullness, gentleness and self-control.
Personally, I still struggle with some of these. It is important for us and for our girls to understand what the fruit of the spirit is. For, as we allow the Holy Spirit to live in us, these will become more evident.
I have created a printout for you to use while discussing what these mean. I have found that if I write something down I am more apt to remember it. It goes back to the different ways we learn (seeing, hearing and writing).
