My sister asked me to make her a canvas to place in her home, above the couch. I opted to make three separate canvases that can be grouped together or separately.
All three have the same background. I began by painting them white. Then while the paint was still wet I added some light blue and blended it in. This created a sky / cloud like affect.
The first canvas is her last name (I have blurred out her name for privacy issues).
The middle canvas is a filagree cross.
The final canvas is a scripture verse.
All three were made using a simple carbon transfer method I explained here.
