Since yesterday was Cinco de Mayo, and May is National Strawberry Month, I have to share my recipe for Strawberry Mango Salsa.
STRAWBERRY MANGO SALSA
2 cups diced strawberries
1 mango peeled and diced
1/4 – 1 jalapeno pepper finely minced
1 Tablespoon lime juice
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1 Tablespoon sugar
2 Tablespoon chopped cilantro
Combine all ingredients and chill for one hour before serving. TIP: The amount of jalapeno needed depends greatly on the size and strength of the pepper, and your personal taste.
