Previously I shared a Button Tab Hat I knit for my niece. To go with it, I made a pair of matching fingerless gloves. She absolutely loved them.
The pattern for the Peekaboo Mitts was created by Abi Gregorio. The pattern can be found on Ravelry. BUT, please note there is a correction to the pattern in the details section.
This pattern is much more complicated than the first pair of fingerless mitts I knit in 2013. The main difference is the thumb gussets. They were worth the extra work and brings me one step closer to knitting real gloves (not that I will need them in Florida).
I opted to use Jeny’s Surprisingly Stretchy Bind Off. Instructions for this bind off method can be found on YouTube.
I’ve been knitting for the past 2 years and of course I’m hooked. I’m an expert at scarfs and ready to take on the next challenge. These fingerless gloves are adorable, I have a pair of fingerless gloves that everyone gawks at. Thanks for sharing this one!
