Teddy Blanket

As winter comes to a close, I thought I would share a different knitting pattern than my usual.  Lately, I have been working with Stana from Stana’s Critters Etc.

She has just released the most adorable set of lovies.

Teddy Blanket

This little guy (or should I say girl) is a great little toy with endless color options. I began with some “Pretty ‘N Pink” Red Heart Super Saver acrylic yarn. The blanket section is knitted first. It consists of two layer knitted in the round.  After completing both layers the face (knitted in “Lace 585” Caron One Pound acrylic yarn from my stash) is added. The bear is topped of with a hat and i-cord tie.  The eyes, nose and mouth are then embroidered on.

I chose to use acrylic yard since it is machine washable, but any light weight washable yarn would be ideal.

If you would like to purchase this pattern head to Stana’s Critter Etc (here).
