Well Valentine’s Day is come and gone and so is the chocolate, but the dishcloths are still here and are used all year long at my house. I wanted to share with you my last heart dishcloth for the season.
This is a simple square cloth with a seed stitch border. I used my favorite #6 needles and “Bright Pink” cotton yarn by Peaches & Creme.

Bind off all stitiches.
How and when do u bind off in this pattern. Thanks for your help. Love knitting dishcloths n love this pattern. Kathy
In almost 3 years, you are the first person to catch that I did not include Bind-off instructions. Thank you for catching the mistake. You would bind off after row 57. I have modified the pattern above.
Could you tell about what size this is completed.
If my memory serve me correctly it is about 6.5″ x 6.5″. It will vary by your guage.
Hi I love this heart pattern and would like to include it in a square which has to be 4 inches by 4 inches. How could I make the whole thing smaller thanks x
The first modification I would make would be to delete the first 6 stitches and the last 6 stitches. I would also knit with a smaller size needle. Hope that helps a little.
Hi is that size 6 needles us or UK? I need to know what mm needles. Thankyou 🙂
Sorry for the confusion. I used US size 6 needles (or 4 mm). Because gauge is not very important in this project, I would recommend you match the needle size to your yarn so you get an adequately dense finished product. I hope this helps.
Beautiful cloth and so perfect for February!!
