Lil’ Red Riding Hood

Do you remember the 1966 song “Lil’ Red Riding Hood” by Sam the Sham and the Pharaohs?  My brain often plays the main line from the song at random moments. It’s one of those songs that just gets stuck in your head and replayed again and again.

I recently found an adorable pattern for a cape that fits an 18 inch doll (here). I made a few changes – like adding a moss-stitch border to the hood to prevent it from rolling under, and crocheting the tie. I must admit I am quite pleased with the final product.

Blueberry Pie

Today is National Blueberry Pie Day. So in honor of this bizarre holiday I present you my daughter’s blueberry pie.
