I love growing fresh herbs in my kitchen window. Herbs are one of the few plants I have been able to grow successfully. They are available all year-long and even if I manage to kill the plants (which happens more often than I care to admit), I am able to save the dried leaves and use them. Earlier this fall, while riding to our troop’s National Day of Service Event, with a van full of PiPa’s, they started singing Christmas Carols. Why they chose to sing them in September, I am not sure.
Long story short, after singing the traditional 12 Days of Christmas, I was inspired to write a version for AHG.
