Baby Blanket, week 3
Yes, it has been three weeks since I began working on a baby blanket for a friend. No, I am not expecting a baby.
This week was a bit more productive. I completed the next strip of letters and began on the next border strip. I will need to block the project but will wait until I am complete to do that.
National Pecan Pie Day
Today is National Pecan Pie Day. Why this holiday is hosted in July, I will never know. Pecans do not come into season until the fall. Maybe it was designed to encourage us to use up all the pecans we have stashed away from last season in preparation for the new crop.
