Make a Joyful Noise

Every year at camp there is at least one new girl who has no idea what a SWAP is. Then there are those who ran out of time before camp to make any, or worse, they made them but left them at home on the kitchen table.  This summer the camp directors asked me to put together SWAP kits to help those who did not have SWAPS to trade.  Using paper lunch sacks, I placed all of the supplies to create 15-25 SWAPS with a sample pinned to the outside of the bag.  All of them were super easy, inexpensive, and needed no detailed instructions.  I thought I would share these super easy SWAPS with you.

The first SWAP is based upon Psalms 100:1.

SUPPLIES:
pipe cleaners – cut in half
PDF file for SWAP tag (here)
card stock
safety pins
scissors

Pipe cleaners (also known as chenille stems) can be cut using a heavy pair of scissors.  Simply print the PDF file onto card stock and cut along the dotted lines.  Shape the pipe cleaner into a music note and attach it to the card.

I hope you enjoy these quick and easy SWAPS.
