Over the last few years, I have created at least one SWAP to improve my crocheting skills. This year I opted to make these easy-going ewes.
SUPPLIES:
White yarn
Crochet hook
Yarn needle
Black felt
Googly Eyes (also know as wiggly eyes)
1/4 inch black ribbon
Hot glue and glue gun
Scissors
Downloadable tag and pattern (here)
Card stock
Step 1: Crochet white circles. I used this YouTube video (here) for guidance. Each sheep circle is 2 inches in diameter and has 3 rounds on it. Don’t stress about the small hole in the center when you begin the circle, it will be covered up with the felt face piece. Use the yarn needle to secure the yarn tail.
Step 2: Download and print the face pattern (here). Cut out the sheep faces from the black felt.
Step 3: Using hot glue, attach a pair of eyes to each face. Then attach them to the circle.
Step 4: Cut black ribbon into 6″ pieces. Fold and attach the ribbon to the back of the sheep with hot glue.
Step 5: Print the SWAP tags on cardstock (these were downloaded in step 2). Don’t forget to add your name and troop number to the back of the tags.
Step 6: SWAP, and remember God made you special.
Inspiration for these were found on Ravelry (here).
Do you sell these??
While I do not have any available for sell at this time, I am happy to create a set for you to purchase. I have emailed you with the details.
