When searching for patterns I stumbled upon this adorable alien. Who could not love this little guy. I knew he was a must knit.
I used a free pattern on Ravelry, designed by Knit Kritters (here). Instead of the recommended safety eyes, I opted to use a pair of 12mm buttons I had left from a recent sewing pattern.
Only after knitting this guy, did I realize he is a character from the tv series Final Space. I guess one disadvantage of getting older is I’m not up-to-date on all the latest shows, but regardless, I think he is adorable and will be knitting another one soon.
