Sprinkles are the glitter of the food world. Sprinkles make everything better, including Rice Krispies Treats.
Begin by greasing a 9×13 pan and set aside.
In a large saucepan over low heat, melt butter and marshmallows. Once it has melted stir in half the cereal. Then add remaining cereal and the sprinkles. Press into greased 9×13 pan and set aside to cool. Cut into squares and enjoy.
TIPS: You can use large marshmallows, but I prefer the small ones as they melt quickier. Also by adding half of the cereal first, the mixture cools slightly and the sprinkles do not melt. Greasing your utensils will keep the mixture from sticking to them.
