With the crazy life this year, my family did not receive the usual amount of hand-knit gifts. I have not heard any complaints, so I’m not sure if they are grateful or just understanding.
My sister was the exception to this rule. Previously, she cleaned out her yarn stash and passed it along to me (have I mentioned she crochets). Included in the stash was a skein of bulky yarn in a variegated cream. She had bought the yarn previously to make a scarf, but …
I found a great, easy and free pattern to make with this yarn. Each row is knitted with either an increase (kfb) or a decrease (k2tog). I was able to whip this up in a couple of nights.
A copy of the free pattern can be found at Lion Brand Yarn website (here).
