This is the final step to finishing the bathroom. I believe that every bathroom needs a candle. Why just sit a candle on the counter when you make it fit the bathroom.
I had plenty of shells left over from my wall art project that I had created and was determined to use them. These shells were cleaned were soaked in a bleach solution overnight, cleaned and dried. Then I applied a thin coat of petroleum jelly to each shell so that they would shine.
The box is one that I previously owned, but the color was all wrong so a couple of coats of paint made it a perfect match. I know have a touch of dark gray in the curtains, on the wall art and in the candle box.
The candle was one I picked up at Wal-Mart for a couple of bucks.
This bathroom is now complete; the only thing left to do is to have the kids keep it clean. On to my next project.
