Each year for Christmas my sister and I exchange handmade items. I love that we share a love for all things handmade. This year I made my sister a glass cross suncatcher.
To create this piece, I foil wrapped and soldered glass baubles from the craft store.
If you like this project, check out this cross I made previously (here).

So I have created my first gift and had to wait to be able to share it with you. This cross was made for my mother-in-law for her birthday. I have to say, I’m proud how it turned out. It now hangs in her kitchen window.
So I have completely fallen in love with glass baubles. Now when I get lost in the craft store my husband does not know if I’m in the yarn section fingering my way down the isle or in the mosaic section drooling over all the different colors.
