Day 7 of Rebecca-fest

Have I ever told you I LOVE snowmen. I don’t know what it is about them that drives me to them. Maybe its the dream of a white Christmas, or childhood memories of playing in the snow, or just watching the snow fall when there is a full moon.

Living in warmer climates, I don’t get to experience snow much. And now that I am moving to Florida, snow will be not be expected for a long time. But that’s okay. Every December I pull out my snowmen collection. Now I have a new item… a Florida snowman towel. Isn’t he cute!

Day 6 of Rebecca-fest

Are you getting tired of Rebecca-fest post yet? Well, I have to admit, I am beginning to look forward to the few moments right after dinner. The whole family sings and I get to open another present.

Today’s gift was a bit on the fun side. Last year my niece brought her Bop-It to Dobb’s funeral. Everyone enjoyed playing with it, especially the kids (and a few big kids too). Ever since I have been looking for a basic Bop-It for my kids. I find it is hard to find toys that are gender neutral and work for both of them without giving the older one an advantage. Look at what my hubby found – A personal size Bop-It. I guess I will have to share this one.

Day 5 of Rebecca-fest

What spells better than fresh popped, buttery, salty, hot popcorn. Hmmmmm….

Today my husband found a cute set of popcorn bowls. I received one large one to use when hubby and I curl up on the sofa and watch movies, and a set of four to use for family movie nights.  About once a month (more if it is very stressful time) we eat dinner in front of the TV and watch a movie as a family on Netflix. The only question left is what to watch.
