Our Heritage #19
Homeschooling and American Heritage Girls has sparked an interest in history. Our Patriots recently completed the Our Heritage merit badge. Requirement #19 has them create a timeline of events between the founding of our country and the start of the Civil War. Each girl selected one event to research and share with the unit. Glass Cross
So I have created my first gift and had to wait to be able to share it with you. This cross was made for my mother-in-law for her birthday. I have to say, I’m proud how it turned out. It now hangs in her kitchen window.
Who knew you could use those little glass stones you find at the dollar store to create such beautiful suncatchers?
